The first of three Slater’s 50/50 restaurants opened over the weekend with its burgers made with 50 percent beef and 50 percent bacon. Massive crowds helped the restaurant out of California debut in Silverado Ranch.
Inside, the restaurant embraces Las Vegas. A life-sized Vegas-style marquee letters greets diners at the entrance. Two walls made from hundreds of tap handles make up another segment of the decor. Pop art pieces of Slater’s signature burgers, all designed and created by local craftsmen and artists.
”Slater’s 50/50 may be a national brand, but we pride ourselves on creating a sense of community around each location that opens. Las Vegas is no exception,” Cindy Sun, general manager of Slater’s 50/50, says in a press statement.
